Could You Help Shape Our Front of House?
Updated: 1 day ago
Our Front of House volunteers are a vital part of every ROTDG production. They’re the first people our audiences meet when they arrive, help everything run smoothly during performances and look after our audiences throughout their visit. Quite simply, we couldn’t put on our shows without them.
We’d now like to build on the great work they already do by creating a Front of House Sub-Committee, and we’re looking for members who would like to get involved.
The idea is to bring together a small group of members to look at how we can support and develop Front of House across our productions. That will include practical matters such as First Aid training, improved emergency and evacuation procedures, and making sure everyone volunteering Front of House feels confident and properly supported in their role.
But we’d also like the new group to look more widely at how we can continue to improve the experience we provide for our audiences.
You certainly don’t need to be a Front of House regular to get involved. We’d particularly like to hear from members with FOH experience, but any member with an interest, ideas or simply a willingness to help would be very welcome.
If you’d like to be part of the new sub-committee, or would just like to find out a little more before deciding, please get in touch with Dee Simpson at deeryan2@me.com.
