Robin Hood Theatre seeking one final male actor for UP 'N' UNDER

Our friends at RHTC at Averham, Newark are seeking a final actor for this fabulous play. John Godber's award-winning comedy follows a hopeless amateur rugby team and the unlikely coach determined to turn them into winners. Bursting with sharp humour, memorable characters and plenty of heart, this uplifting comedy celebrates teamwork, determination and the triumph of the underdog.

The character is Tony; he is described as a young apprentice miner, the youngest of the group, so he should ideally have an innocence to him. Age really isn't a factor. The play is classic godber physical comedy, so it would suit someone who likes to play big, no previous rugby experience required!

The play is on 26-31 Jan 2027. If you'd like more details please contact the Artistic Director - Contact artistic director - artistic@rhtc.co.uk or comms@rhtc.co.uk
