As Grimley Colliery faces closure, jobs, families and a whole way of life hang in the balance. But while the pit may be under threat, bandleader Danny has other ideas. He’s determined that the Grimley Colliery Band will play on — all the way to the National Championships at the Royal Albert Hall.
Based on the much-loved film, Paul Allen’s stage adaptation mixes sharp humour, heartbreak and defiance in a celebration of community spirit and the extraordinary power of music.

We’re delighted to be joined by Carlton Brass, bringing the sound, excitement and sheer power of a live brass band into Grange Hall. This is Brassed Off as it should be experienced — great drama and glorious brass music, together on stage.
