Synopsis This is a bitter-sweet comedy full of emotional resonance and heartfelt humour, Shelagh Stephenson�s ' The Memory of Water' is one of those gems that remind us that theatre is, above all else, a place for the heart. 'The Memory of Water' was voted UK �Play of the Year� in 2001 and winner of the Oliver Award for Best New Comedy in 2000. The action takes place in the present and is continuous. Vi appears as the ghost of the sister's recently deceased mother. There are two acts and there is an interval of approximately 20 minutes during which tea, coffee, soft drinks and biscuits will be served.:
