Synopsis
A shadow (or perhaps it should be a shade?) falls upon the
household of Charles Condomine, well-to-do writer, and his wife
Ruth after a local medium, Madame Arcati, is invited to hold a
seance. Charles is actually a sceptic in matters ofthe spirit
world. He is in fact researching for his nextbook " The unseen"
and asks his neighbours, the Bradmans, to assist him in his bid
for inside information. Although the Condomine's invited guests
all leave amused, but unimpressed, one very unexpected visitor
remains behind. But we must let the actors continue this story
and we hope that you enjoy Noel Coward's entertaining play as so
many audiences have done before.
