Synopsis
The play is in two acts, both of
which are set in a Church Hall in Acton, London.
This play brings together a neurotic do-gooder, a
trainee Social Worker and three agoraphobics who have been persuaded to
venture out of their homes to run a jumble sale in a church hall.
In the course of this we see how these five very
different women relate to each other in their conversation, attitudes
and reminiscences.
The result is a very entertaining, witty and sometimes
poignant play. |
